were getting new chickies. we just ordered the eggs so theyll get here by friday. our hen will hatch them.

were getting 6 eggs mailed but were only keeping one or two cuz some might be roosters and some might not be fertile or survive shipping so i think of it as insurance
were getting black copper marans. i think maran eggs are really cool

i have good and bad news lets have the good first, the eggs are coming today!!!!!!!!

the bad news, our hen is having trouble adjusting to her new nest box.

so i think were going to have to move her old nest box in and suffer with the new one for 3 weeks or so.
