"Yeah. I want to tough it out but at the same time, if I do they might just stop working. So maybe not so smart," she smiled. "Could we rest on a tree for a bit then come back up?"

"Of course." He purred and led the way down, settling on the very top branches of the first tree he saw.

She sank gratefully onto the branch. "Much better..." she murmured as her wings tucked down by her sides.

"No, this isn't showing off, this is!" At his last words, he maneuvered his wings and body just enough to perform a flip. When he finished, he twitched his whiskers with amusement then sat back down beside her.

She gave him a gentle slap with her paw. "Well, you still showed off," she smirked.
