"If you go a day without eating, then I will." She mewed firmly. "Look, this is a silly thing to argue about. I'm doing it whether you like it or not." She flicked him on the ear with her tail.

He returned the flick and said "I won't take it though."

"Like this?" He asked and stalked off. He found a mouse that had been foraging nearby and pounced. It let out a shriek and he cut it off abruptly with a swift bite. He came back and set it next to her to prove his point. "There!"

"Well, that was just lucky," Lichenstep said, rolling her eyes. Though she didn't want to admit it, she was kind of impressed.
