"Sure." He laughed. He did his classic nose-dive, and ran straight into the patrol that he saw earlier. They did follow him, just slowly.

"Fox dung!" He hissed under his breath. He quickly shot back up into the sky again so they wouldn't be able to identify him as the one who crossed over the border.

Lichenstep looked up as he left, bemused. "Sorry about that," she apologized to the patrol. She flew up again, following Dewfang.

The patrol looked at them, dumbfounded.

Once Dewfang was sure he was out of sight and hearing, he looked at Litchenstep and mewed "What am I going to do?"

"I don't know," she admitted. "They didn't challenge us, so I don't think they knew you crossed the border. I think we're fine."
