He didn't nose dive, but he did stop flapping his wings and fall, swooping up at the last second and landing right in front of the patrol. Lichenstep was more calm, sitting down and wrapping her tail around her paws nonchalantly. The RiverClan patrol didn't seem fazed by Dewfang's anger "We were going to ask him the same thing about RiverClan territory." The leader of the patrol replied evenly, gesturing to Dewfang.Lichenstep was more calm, sitting down and wrapping her tail around her paws nonchalantly. "Yes, what have you come for?" she asked.
Mouse dung, they recognized him. She forced herself to look indifferent. "He crossed your border by mistake, we were only searching for two apprentices. I assure you it won't happen again." She dipped her head.The RiverClan patrol didn't seem fazed by Dewfang's anger "We were going to ask him the same thing about RiverClan territory." The leader of the patrol replied evenly, gesturing to Dewfang.

At his hiss, Lichenstep shot him a warning glance. "I know," she muttered. "Let's just clear this up and look for Flamepaw and Rustpaw, we don't have much time." She turned back to the patrol. "No, they're not. As I've said, it's a mistake that won't be related."Dewfang hissed under his breath, feeling frustrated.
"It better not." an apprentice growled from somewhere inside the group. A warrior, probably it's mentor, hushed the apprentice. "Those apprentice's are most likely not on RiverClan land." The leader replied, ignoring the apprentice behind them.
"Good." With a sweep of it's tail, it led the patrol back across the border and headed back towards RiverClan camp.At his hiss, Lichenstep shot him a warning glance. "I know," she muttered. "Hey, we all make mistakes like that," she said comfortingly, glancing back to make sure the patrol was leaving. "You just happened to make it at the wrong time.""Good." With a sweep of it's tail, it led the patrol back across the border and headed back towards RiverClan camp.
"Well, this is probably going to be brought up at the next Gathering." Dewfang mewed, feeling slightly annoyed and ashamed
