The Elusive Chicken Mushroom

My DH took me fishing for my birthday yesterday and I saw this: (Orange spot--pic isn't very clear.)

...WAAAAAAYYYYY across the creek on the otherside. I like to hunt mushrooms and I have been on the lookout for the chicken mushroom for a long time. Figures I finally find one and I CAN'T GET TO IT. I believe I have finally got DH talked into buying me a john boat now though.

Chicken mushroom is an easy one it identify, so I know this has to be one. They can get HUGE too. If I can get someone to watch 2-yr-old DD, I will be in the woods!
