In short, my chickens are being rehomed.

My family is moving. Into a nice neighborhood... with an HOA. My girls are going to live with a family friend. They'll be safe and I trust said family friend.

I'll miss my girls, and you won't see much of me going forward.

So goodbye to my girls, and goodbye to BYC.

A great big step in my life. I'll be going off to college, so its not like my hens would of been a big part of my life anyways... Still sad to see them go earlier than expected. All will be well, though.

Avary, I wish you well in the next chapter/ adventure in your life. I have very much enjoyed getting to know you a bit, and I hope you know that I am truly impressed with your abilities and talents. More than that, you are just truly a very special person in so many ways. Yes, you are a little different and unique and you may not always walk the same well-worn path that most people walk. That is your greatest gift and what makes you such a unique treasure! I hope someday you will come to appreciate that about yourself as much as I do. You are an opal in a bucket of marbles! Thank you for sharing a bit of your life with me. I will never forget you. Joy and success to you, in whatever you do. Come back and see us sometimes.
