I have only been telling my close friends for the last week or so, because I've been so scared to mention it anywhere else, but

Now mainstream media is talking about it too, I just saw new articles about it on usatoday, techcrunch, yahoo, a lot of others too, so I guess I could mention it and maybe get away with it.

It's just doctors using blood transfusion from cured, immune people like me for sick people who can't fight the virus themselves.

It's called convalescent plasma therapy and was done in the shenzen third people's hospital ages ago for covid-19 and the methodist hospital in houston texas, as I've been smsing my friends for ages, to give hope and comfort that they will be alright, but now

As of Monday, more than 100 researchers and 40 large hospitals in 20 states are involved in the effort to bring survivor plasma to clinical trials, according to project leaders. -big usa today article

So what are you going to do first when all this is over ? I want to find a place I can have a good garden for myself and my chickens. I don't like it here. I want to find somewhere better. Somewhere the growing food is easier. How about you, what will you do different when covid finishes ?

Bear in mind that we are now heading into either a depression or perhaps just a really bad recession, but that doesn't mean we can't have hope for better.

I may be more couscous but I don’t think I will do much differently. Trusting God and my faith keeps me grounded, calm, and mostly worry free. He is with us always. I always can each year from the garden so we have a food supply. But of course for us nothing has really changes neither of us are working (well I am from home, preparing work for students). But hubs is laid off every winter and was already on unemployment so as for income we are lucky to not have a change there. He get his unemployment and I still get paid from the board of education.

Prayers and thoughts for everyone having hardships and those who are trying to recover from this. And for everyone who is helping in any way to get us through this tough time.

I live alone and have for many years not by choice but it is what it is! I have been here over 50 years (yes I AM OLD) most neighbors - the friendly? ones - will nod or say hello if they see me. That's it!! It won't change if the virus ever leaves without taking all of us with it.

Maybe the Township senior bus will start running again someday who knows. I think there is too much concern over liability issues I can walk a very far distance when I get used to doing so again.

I tried the other day and ended up with major blisters from walking 10 miles. I didn't heed my own knowledge - to gradually work up the distance, after sitting on my butt for years when the bus took me around for nearly 13 yrs. I can't practice walk now because folks don't heed the "social distancing," requirement, and I can't bring myself to tell them "stand back."

i want one of these for the next or before the next crisis

I was looking through random 4 wheel pedal cars to try to find the one I want, but I couldn't find one like it. I want something that I can pedal around without petrol, not like that won't disappear in a second in the next new crisis, not need licence or registration and just pedal to goto town and shopping and get firewood.

i can't remember what these are, but one might be a burning man. I think there are a lot of homemade art bikes at burning man, but I don't want something so complex.
