Ok so all my horses are at my house except for my stallion, hes about 15 miles away, give or take a little. I have my own rolls of hay here at the house, but no way to transport them to where the stud is, so Ive been having this guy bring me a roll for him every time he gets low. Well he was low last week and I called him and he pretty much told me hed bring it every day last week and never did. So I called another guy and he said hed bring it between 6:30 & 7p....& would call before he left so I knew when to leave to meet him there. Our snow storm started around 5:30. At 6:30 he hadnt called, but I figured it was safe to leave & was worried he wouldnt give me enough notice to get down there with the snow & all I knew itd take a good half hour and I didnt know how close he lived. The starter on my truck had been going bad so I didnt want to shut it off once I got there while waiting for him because I was worried it wouldnt start back up. I got there at 7 & still hadnt heard from him. My truck gets 5 miles to the gallon so sitting there with it running was breaking me. It was 7:40 when they finally called and said theyd be there in a half hour. So I shut off my truck because I wanted to make sure I had enough gas once I left there to get to the gas station. About 8 I tried to start it and....low and behold....nothing! So I jumped out, banged on the starter and......nothing. I tried starting it with the cilanoid, didnt work. And by this time my battery is dead. So I called a friend and he was gonna come get me and before I could tell him where I was, my phone died. So the hay guy came and tried to jump me, didnt work, then tried all the things I had already tried, of course, didnt work. His wife or whatever was in the truck and I could tell she was a total $#%@&! So I used his phone to call my friend and it was impossible to give him directions because I didnt know the names of the streets & they were all back roads, dirt roads & had a bunch of forks in the road (not kidding). The hay guy wouldnt give me a ride to the gas station for my friend to pick me up, so I called the guy who I am renting the property to & he said he would and then the hay guy got my truck started. Battery terminals were loose (among other things Im sure). So now Im happy but still have to drive home in the middle of a snow storm. Forgot to tell you, Im sick as a dog too, so that didnt make things any easier! I made it tho!!! yay!!!!

If this wasn't BYC, I'd suggest the two of us make friends with a guy named Jack who lives in my kitchen cupboard, meet up with his friend coca-cola and forget about our days.
