The Extremely Lucky Cockerel.

I rescued this one eyed cockerel from the local storage yard where he had been wandering for months gathering scraps of food from the floor and local workers. He was run over twice by an artic and 7 1/2 tonne wagon luckily missing the wheels and coming out the other side with only a few feathers missing. Luck real was on his side. I built a pen, stuck him in it with fresh water good fresh food and a warm bed. Within 2 weeks he was a different cockerel. I then decided to get him some girlies and he can’t believe his eye now!

Has anyone else got a story of how they rescued a feathered friend?

Such a cute and precious little guy, he must be protected! Thank you for giving him a beautiful home with lots of hens. He is one lucky rooster, and he doesn’t even realise.
Welcome to BYC, I can’t wait to hear all about your chickens :)
