Not quite sure. I believe it’s some sort of glitch in the hens’ system. Common in very new or very old layers.

Here's a fairy egg I got just today. It weighs 10 grams. I'm going to crack it open when I cook eggs tomorrow. We'll see if there's a yolk inside.

Make sure to snap a pick when you crack it onto the pan!
