The Fathers Day Hatch-A-Long!!! The Last Day To Set eggs Is June 3rd!!!!

I have two questions.

Can I join. I 'set' eggs May 20th in the evening?

My 'set' is a broody not an incubator.


If I can join. I have 9 egg under her but I'll be candling on Monday to check development as the rooster is a little on the young side and not sure how many are fertile.
They are just barnyard mixes from my largest girls and hopefully my black copper maran roo. There were some other roos skittering about too, a barnvelder and 3 americana's.

Figure it will be obvious if I see feathered legs. No matter the barnvelder is a big boy too.

), 4 Australorp, 2 Speckled Sussex, and 2 mixes. I have them all in the incubator for now, but I think I'll be moving 4 or so under my broody later tonight. None are shipped - just driven - but I'm incubating in a different room with an air conditioner (so that my temps are even this late in the year). This is not my usual set-up, so I hope I don't mess it up.

Is it too late to join in? I just noticed this thread. I set 8 Cream Legbars last night. And I have some different eggs coming this week for another 'bator. Some FBCM and some Showgirls. This is only my second hatch. I just completed my first one and had 100% hatch.

Hoping for a good hatch rate with these eggs.

Watch your RH.. The A/C tends to dry it out somewhat... Will

Chicken expense spreadsheet???? Do I really want to know how much I am spending on my chicken hobby???? I'm thinking the answer is no........

I didn't get mine set right I think. I set some D'Uccles on last Monday. Am I still okay. We are working a lot at work and home. What day was the 20th anyway?

I thought Monday was the 20th. Don't have a calendar handy to double check though.
