My incubator is in a bedroom in the basement and I just "set it and forget it" which is really nice. I put them in lockdown on Day 18 then go down to check on it on Day 20 and am surprised when I have fuzzy butts!

I have some Welsummers eggs in lockdown due to hatch on Thurs. and some due to go into lockdown on Thurs..my showgirls..only 4 of those left. Man, I hope I get all of them to hatch!

Thanks, and no fair! You must live on a lot of land. Did already say that? No fair, you must live on a lot of land. LOL>>>>>lots of chickies going on around your place. What else have you got? Are you on a farm? Goats. Horses too. I say...no fair!

Day 16 today for my 15 Narragansett turkey eggs ... the 5 that looked funky/clear on day 8, looked the same on day 16, so they were remove. The other 10 looked real good, lots of embryonic movement.
The aircells looked a little small so I opened up the vent on the incubator to almost full bore!
So in about 1 week I'll be heading into lockdown mode ...!!
