Oh Oh, out of curiosity, are they saying Welsummers, or mixes of those? They are darling, and trust me, if they are Welies, you will have beautiful eggs, granted, not blue, but the prettiest egg out there as far as I'm concerned. I looove the Welsummer egg. It is different every time the hen lays. Sometimes sprinkles, sometimes big dots! Keep a girl. See what happens. If you payed for Legbars, I would say something to whoever you bought them from. That happened to me once. I thought I was getting a certain breed..and wallla..surprise! I took pictures, sent them to the seller, and he admitted that he had that breed, and one must have gotten into the other coop! I got more eggs, and the right breed that time. Worth a try.
This person did not say one way or the other what they might be or might not be, as far as I know the breeder only has Cream Legbars and FBCM. So they are probably not wellies. I will keep them and grow them out for sure. I have emailed the seller and am waiting for a response. Regardless, they are cute and I love watching them run around the brooder.
