I must be so distracted these days, I was turning the eggs this morning and I'm looking at dates. "3" , I think these should be in lockdown!

ANd I'm waiting for 15 Boff Orpington eggs to make their entrance. I did have one peeping this morning when I moved them to the hatcher! Unless I was hearing the chicks that inhabit the bathroom!

update,,,,, have 1 chick hatched and lots more trying hard to make there arrival

,, the waiting is nerve racking!!! was just informed by daughter I now have 2 chicks hatched lol,, gotta go check ,, be back later,, happy hatching everyone

My kids keep me updated too when I have too much housework/farmwork to keep my nose pressed to the glass! SO I enjoy your thrill . . . .

Cynthia - I tried less humid as you suggested and have not had any yolk sac problems this batch. Thanks for sharing your eggs-pertice!

Glad you are having a better succes rate? Did you increase or decrease the humidity?

Last night I went to bed with no pips, this morning I wake up to 5 hatched!!
