The First Day

I am officially a chicken Mama . We picked up our four girls this morning and they seem to be settling in just fine. We ran into town to grab a bite to each and got back home at dusk. I went to get them into the coop so they will be safe and warm, but to my surprise, they put themselves to bed we've named three of them so far...plucks is the leghorn, freckles is the golden lace, Lucy is the silver lace and still thinking on the barred.

Looking forward to all of this chicken stuff
