No I haven't even heard of her! :p But tell me, what sort of author is she? I think one of the best books I've ever read is called "Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry," I can't tell yall how many times I've re-read that book. The author is amazing, the writing is superb.

Hold on, let me go check the authors name on the bookshelf...

Mildred D. Taylor is the name.
Me too! Have you ever read Anne Rinaldi's books?

It's not the violence or drama I care about, really, I'm not bothered about those things (unless the drama is absolutely ridiculous). The things I care about is the overall feel of the book, and as far as I can tell, it's dark. And from what I've heard and read about the movie, it's so there, in a way it's almost not a film. Those are the things I care about, sorry if it's a little hard to understand...but that's why I don't read the Hunger Games.
Haha. I usually don't get really liking books until I'm in a couple of chapters. They are a little violent I times but it is a good book, it's really interesting, it's about love and ending the capitol, and all that stuff....I love the hunger games!

She writes awesome historical fiction! Most of the characters and events in her stories were real. Pretty much the only thing she makes up is their day to day activities and conversation. One of my favourites is "Hang A Thousand Trees With Ribbons" about Phillis Wheatley.
I've heard of that book, but I haven't read it.

Cool, I'll look in to that.
