So, as I was saying... chicken shenanigans. Like when you buy a 70$ Waterer and instead of using that they do this.

I just moved and inherited my sister in law's bunny turned chicken coop. It's fun to work on it, I've had to redo the wire on the ground due to rats. She used regular bunny wire, think 2x1" gaps, and thats why i had a rodent problem. I was lucky enough to have 3 days off, so I mucked out everything, pulled out whatever couldn't be salvaged and started stabling in some hardware cloth. But not 10 minutes in I feel a hard tap on my back, look over my shoulder to see my rhode island red taking a gander at my work! Lol Triska proceeded to inspect the entire run before taking her leave.

Both her and my light Brahma named Henrietta, would check in every little while to see what's up.

Right now I have a Ameraucana (Lady), a light Brahma (Henrietta), new hampshire (Erza), rhode island red (Triska), silver laced wyandotte (Freya), a moca Java (Sigrun), Barneveld (Brynhildr), red laced wyandotte (Midna), and a salmon faverolle (Verdandi)
