~The Forests of Avalon, A Dragon Roleplay~

A dark, almost shapeless figure darted through the woods that bordered Pelendava, slowing to an abrupt stop, and then vanishing behind a tall, dense patch of foliage above the undergrowth. Deep, rich royal blue eyes inconspicuously watched from behind the veil of shadows. The bushes, and the shade from the tree canopy concealed his figure perfectly as he stayed still as a statue.

The silhouette crept through the undergrowth until it found a tall oak, where it rocketed up into the labyrinth of boughs, shrouded by the leafy cover as he watched curiously from a higher perspective.

Left's already contented countenance was brightened with a warm grin, and Right's self-concious simper had slowly shifted to a half-smile within the time that he'd gotten to know some of the other dragons. They lined up behind Gabriel and unfurled their wings, ready to follow behind him.

Amatis was nearby, speaking to Apolena, but wasn't paying attention to the bushes. Gabriel's dark red form was also in the distance, showing Right and Left around the city. Other then that, only the constant hum of everyday life rose up from the city.

Gabriel rose quickly into the sky, calling for them to follow him. The evening air was warm and humid, and the sun cast long shadows across the ground as it set. "The building you were just in..." He motioned behind them "Is the High Guard. Its where the council holds their meetings. The library is also there, and is open to all citizens to use."

"A library," Right seemed very pleased about this, and he grinned rather smugly, "Wonderful." Left said nothing, but nodded subtly, eyes fixed on the overwhelming views.

Gabriel nodded, sounding pleased aswell "Yeah, if your ever looking for Camilla, she's usually around there something." Next he angled his wings slightly to the left, banking over an area of huts, now brightly lit as night settled upon the city "This is where the civilians live and work, they are not warriors, but build a lot of the equipment that we use. Armour and things like that."
