The Fricken Chicken story!

Here is some grand shots of my big boy. He was trying to open the gate while I was doing stalls. Then attempt to eat my phone. He is a very mouthy boy...

Yins remember, I said I had a fox in my foot trap, a few weeks ago. Here is the little bugger. He frequents my yard every evening. I giggle watching him, not even 10 mins after my dogs been outside. He comes out, and darts around my yard like he owns the place. He is a silly thing. Long as he doesn't come out during the day and eat my chickens, he can do what he does, as a creature of the night.

OMG! 🥰🥰🥰

I can't contain my excitement for my silkies! Since my husband has been working hard, to keep his company afloat. We haven't got to build them a coop. So he surprised me with a tracking number for an Overez large coop for my silkies. I got a call this morning from the shipping company! It will be here this friday!!! :celebrateIt will be a nice upgrade for the little floofs. I plan on adding some extra ventilation and possibly block off a few nest box and convert it into storage space, and also hardware cloth the windows too. Other wise, I think it will be perfect for them.

This spring, I'm going to access my big coop. It's in pretty rough shape. So I'm not sure if it will be worth rebuilding. I have a whole back section, in my big coop I'm not using. At least 6x8 or 8x8 area blocked off. But for now its safe, and works for my standard birds.

Any who! Here is good ol pinhead Betty (Betty and Bonnie are molting), and Iris! Betty is actually looking black lol and not sun bleached black.
