Well, it is ancient! Lol I'm just trying to be resourceful, we are tearing down the old trailer next door. That come off the porch we removed this weekend! Mean to tell me, you never experienced exploding plastic!?

I have. Old plastic is quite brittle.

Goldie
Goldie come after my first 3 pullets. I think she is a RIR. She has been through a lot in her short life. She recently was attacked by a coyote, and still recovering. She is always trailing behind everyone else. So she gets targeted by predators, more than my EEs. She is such a laid back hen. Lays me some giant brown eggs too!

Blondie is a beautiful EE hen. She lays some very pretty darker green eggs. I love her. But she is flighty some times. She hatches some beautiful chicks, but they are extremely feral acting. Great layers, but nutty birds.

They didn't make it very far. Went out around the dirt pile, then back into the run. They didn't come out for a while so I just locked them back in. The main flock wants out anyways! At least they survived their first outing!
