The Fricken Chicken story!

My friend come and got her 2 Turkens, and I made her take the little random one too. The 2 turken and the random chick always hung out. I couldn't let it stay back, when its buddy's left.. For caring for her chicks, she brought me 4 California White pullets she got for 50 cents each. Pretty cute little chicks. Be nice to have some white layers in the flock.

What is up with this chicks comb! I think its a cochin and silkie cross. But im not certain. Very interesting though!

Left the flock out today. I also left the door open on the chicks pen, half came out half stayed in. Good luck bitty chicks!

I got 2 brown eggs yesterday! So that means Goldie started laying again! It has been about a month since she was attacked. I'm so glad my girl is feeling better. Not sure her comb will ever stand straight again. But oh well! I'm just happy to still have her around
