The Fricken Chicken story!

Got my chicken coops cleaned, and all the stuff moved. Got hardware cloth over the windows, in the silkie coop. One of the vents replaced. Got my center run fixed for my babies, soon as they are ready to go out!

I kept 12 of the 29 chicks we ordered. Looks to be 2 polish, 3 BLRW, random black chick, 2 chipmunk looking chicks, and 2 maybe Egyptian fayoumis, and and my 2 black langshan! I still have 11 silkie eggs due to hatch next week! I'll keep back 4 and sell the rest.

My goat had her baby Thursday! It's a boy.

While my eggs pipping! I went out to visit my flock. My Zoomie, looking like a dirt ball. She always has to be up in my business. Then lovely Xerxes with his hair cut! I'm excited for my Zoomie egg to hatch!

8 of my 11 silkie eggs hatched! 3 white. 1 paint, and 4 black. The last 3 eggs are due to hatch tomorrow! The one in my incubator is from Zoomie. That bugger pipped the wrong end... so I had to finish hatching it this morning!! I see at least 2 or 3, I am going to keep back. We will see how the other 3 look after they are hatched.

This is one of my keepers!
