Yes!! This lovely lady just proved, she is in fact a lady! She squated for me today!! She moved back with my flock, after my mom sold all her bantams. She is from my black hen with the pink comb (a friend has her now). So I got a little nicer version of her mother.

I think it is about time my chicks learn to be chickens. They need to move their nugget butts outside!

This is Melvin, the mosiac. I really like him. His personality so far is really nice. I'd like to hang onto him, and see how he matures.

Misty, the Mosiac is pretty awesome too! Both lovely birds.

Very please with my last hatch for the year! I have 9 of 10 deathlayer hatch, and 6 of 7 showgirl eggs. One deathlayer still in the incubator. One showgirl pipped, got stuck and died overnight. But 2 lovely showgirls, and 4 beautiful silkies hatched out! My Deathlayer are all stunning and Fiesty. So I'll get some pictures of them later!

Toss these babies out this morning, hopefully they are OK. Majority of the flock is very mellow. It's Big Momma I worry about. She can be a meanie with babies at her side!

I love this girl! She is so sweet! Hopefully her relatives who hatched out are just as lovely! Oh she started to squat too! Not much longer, I will see eggs! Miss Deborah

Omg! So yesterday I glanced out my bedroom window to my 3 coops... As I was picking up in the bedroom, it dawned on me something was REALLY off about that glance out the window.... So... I went to look again! Oh no.. that's not right... oh $H!+.... FML a tree fell and I can't see my new shed coop... this is what I seen. So I hurry up, shove some shoes on to run out the door and make sure my chickens are OK!

As I'm having a mini heart attack running across the yard, I cut the corner of the downed tree to see its missed my shed by about 10 or 15 ft!!! Talk about a huge relief
