Small huh? My school has an ok amount for a school. There's always tons of freshman in JROTC, about half Sophomores, and a very little amount of Juniors and Seniors. Colorguard is fun, hm? :3 I got to do colorguard during my town's Christmas parade ^^ It was fun, but us four doing colorguard were Privates (before I got promoted a couple of times), the higher ranking second year JROTCers were behind us trying to help us out, and the guy holding the rifle beside me would NOT listen to the much higher ranking girl trying to help him keep in step behind us. Aside from the flag getting in my face and occasionally getting out of step, it was all cool :3

COLORGUARD IS MAH FAVRITE! Sorry, I had a moment. :D That's funny that everybody drops out as they get older. XD I plan to stay in all through highschool- it's so much fun, and so rewarding.
Yes... I've noticed that lower-ranking guys very rarely want to listen to higher-ranking girls.

We had one cadet who dropped out... Ugh, he was a disaster. He STILL has not returned his uniform, and he's just... Grr.... He wouldn't get a haircut, and he wouldn't just shut his face and listen to anybody, ESPECIALLY me, and... *fuss, fume* Oh well. He's gone now.

Here's one of my group. (btw, when I say small, I mean SMALL. We have six cadets all together. We had seven, but one got booted.)


With the MO Governor- Oh yeah.

I'm the one in the front row, far left. The guy in the back row, far left is the guy who wouldn't cut his hair. The girl right next to me is the one who got booted.

Colorguard is very fun :3 but very nerveracking for me; I am afraid to mess up ^-^;
That sounds just like a freshman cadet that came in 2/3s in the school year. He never cut his hair, he didn't listen much at all, and he even refused to march :I the only thing he did was hit on the only girl in that specific class.

Nice! Wow, you guys got the jackets and everything! Hopefully everyone but the freshman will be getting the new grey and blue uniforms next year. I'll probably finally get myself a jacket too, considering I'll be on the colorguard team. I see we both have only a few ribbons :p I have like 2 more than the ones in the picture of me above

Thank you so much! I was just testing out my new camera's HD blur&focus out in the woods with Angel (before she got bred to the stallion.) and she moved her head as it took the picture. It turned out quite pretty and professional so I kept it. ^-^

An update on Angel's still-undetermined-pregnancy-ness, they'll be able to check if the egg, which contains the unborn baby's DNA, (which will form into the foal if it survived) survived or not this week! I'm super excited! See, I want Angel to have caught but at the same time I don't because if she DOES, I won't ride her for two years but if she DOES she'll be the best mom EVER!!!1!
