My babies are finally out.

I’m a bit worried that it gets too hot in the coop but they are loving the run. I’ve got to admit…I miss them

Aww! i love your run! I lived in crestview for four years, and I dont miss that sand though!

Mine have been a dog kennel for about 2 weeks now. Today though, I am off and they are free ranging in the front yard. I think I need to go take some pics.

Was that fence easy to build? cheap? I have the plywood, but not that fencing you have. Is that rat wire? How tall? About how long is that run? How deep did you bury the end in the sand? Is that wire under ground as well or jusr held under by metal twisty tie thingy ma bob ers?

I am so excited, can you tell?

You did it! you gave me an idea for a "bigger yard"!!!

I could so build a run like that at the back of my pen... hmmmm....

You've built a really nice place for your girls.

We have a similar sliding (up and down) chicken door. Could you tell me what you use to keep it up in the daytime and to secure it at night. We've used a "hook and eye" but it is already bending from the weight of the door. I need a new idea!

DH built the whole thing. I'll get answers from him quick and get back to you.
