The Girls at 10 wks

Havent been here in a while...and finally got the grass mowed (between all the rain storms). The girls love their new "carpet"...scratching and pecking like crazy. I think they look pretty darn good for me being a "newbie" Funny thing, when I come home from work,or just go outside, I start talking to them when I get out of the jeep, and they really know my voice, they all come running to the door of the run to see me....hubby thinks thats funny, just like a dog!!

Ooh what a carpet! My kids would love for me to give them the clippings after a good mow, thing is, DH just mows it into a scatter and doesn't bag. 6 acres...bluh! Me thinks rake might work.

Beautiful chickens! I love mine every bit as much as my mammals.

They really do love it....they heard me out there this morning getting ready to let them out.....they were right there by the door and charged out to play with all that new stuff.......its very funny to watch them.
