The girls (maybe 1 Roo) have arrived!

Hi, I just picked up my first chickens this past Monday. We got 2 Partridge Chanteclers, 2 Dominiques and 2 Americaunas. We think that one of the Chanteclers might be a male which we didn't want at first but now we think that we may keep him and breed him next year. So far we haven't had any major problems with predetors (one night something tried to get in the pen but the girls were inside the coop) but nothing came of it. I love them already. Can't wait until they start to lay. They're only about 5 and 7 weeks old right now so it will be a while yet. I will update when eggs arrive!
