Well we moved our babies outside this weekend, all's been good until tonight!

That's a 5' high fence!

Man for "dumb" birds; our's are pretty smart, chasing babies all over the yard!

Apparently, I need a top!!

Or trim their wings so that they can't fly up over the fence.

Yes! As a newbie I am learning that where there is a will there is a way and they are little Houdini's!

So sorry to laugh, but I did! Chickens are the craziest things.... Don't they know you built that wonderful palace just for them to live the life of luxury in? What's up with that!?! My daddy use to say... "Kids.... buy 'em books and they eat the danged pages!"

DH put deer netting over our run. It's cheaper than chicken wire. Just throw something (moss or whatever) on it so it can be seen by your babies and birds above.
