Now that I live in a box for school, it is actually painful to throw away everything that had the possibility to break down and make great compost.
Used to be just waste from non recyclable plastics/paper because at home, most our "trash" goes to the recycling center or into the chickens/garden. We only have to go to the transfer station for one load of garbage garbage 3-4 times a year for a house of 5 adults. At 18 bucks a load (minimum cost or entering facility with load under 340 lbs, rarely is it more than that unless water got into the trash), sure beats weekly pickup costs too!
