Snow must be cold on their bare feets! 🥶
Sure is on mine!

But that dog of mine, he loves snow! Until he stays out too long and his little feeties get cold! Then it's "oh please come carry me to the house! I am but a tiny dog!"

Walking Sherlock tonight. Heard geese calling. They were so high the Vs looked like a single long hair blowing and drifting about on the wind. Just below the level of the clouds....and there had to be close to 300 of them. Don't think I've seen a migrating flock that big before.

I've never seen more than 10-12. Probably by the time we get them here they split up along the way. Santa Fe Dam down the road from us is probably their rest-stop.

Beautiful sunset

That’s late to be on the move. I have not seen much movement here. Likely sue to the very mild Autumn there has been.

They allow domestic waterfowl to remain there?

I am still seeing and hearing groups moving on - but never a group as large as @rural mouse saw.
Canada Geese are resident here year-round but some migrate and every year I wonder how they decide whether to stay or not!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Hope you got to spend time with loved ones and if you haven't, there's always Christmas. In my case, I didn't get to be with family at this time, however I will get to travel to Connecticut around Christmas time. By the way, here are turkey donuts. No I did not make these. My local grocery store had them as well as turkey cupcakes and a turkey cake that they put out annually (that I unfortunately don't have pictures of).

And not yet Saturday, but here's a photo of Mačor in his own little tent.
