Happy Memorial Day to all!

Happy back to you! We went up to the little cemetery to put flowers on old family graves. We saw a guy pull up in his truck and get out with 2 cans of beer. He walked over to a grave and set down one beer, opened the other and drank it. When he was finished, he left the full can on the grave, threw the empty in the trash, and got in the truck and left.
My daughter walked over to see the grave and said the dates were such that it could have been his father. His tribute to his Dad.

Happy Memorial Day! Yet sad as well, as we remember those who have sacrificed their lives to give us the freedoms we have. So often we take them for granted, and we don’t remember the price that comes with it. “Freedom is NEVER free.”
