Hello, and welcome to the HP roleplay thread! Here, using your HP character, we make up scenes from Harry Potter books. Here's how it goes. We start on book one, The Sorcerer's Stone, and every 30 pages (if we get there) of the thread, we change the book. Using whatever characters are participating at the time, anyone can create a new scene out of those characters after each scene has had 12 posts. Keep the scenes going for a while if you can, but don't let them run too long to the point that everyone gets bored. The scenes CAN be really from the book/film, but it's easier if you make it up, so people aren't constantly flipping through their HP book to find out what they have to say next. Using the below, make your character. All CHARACTERS must be really from the book, unlike the scenes. I recommend that you've read the book we're on, if not it's gonna be a little hard. I have provided many links to all of the locations, creatures, spells and characters in the book. I recommend you use those.

Note: Please be dedicated to the thread if you are Harry, Ron, Hermione, Dumbledore, Voldemort, Snape, Draco Malfoy, or any other extreme main character. I ask that along with everyone else, you know a lot about your character, and keep in mind that it is hard for this thread to run without you.

- No inappropriate scenes
- No "fowl" language, even if this is a chicken site.

- Must stay on HP topic
- Must not change scenes too often
- All BYC rules apply
- Do not visit less than every five days, but if you can't please inform us. And don't just post once and then get offline. Remember, the HP world needs your character. Especially if you're not made-up or major.
- Be nice!
- STAY ON TOPIC! THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR HP HATERS!! Go make your OWN thread for that, and I'll make mine.

- DON'T be realistic! It's HP people!
- I recommend going through the spell list and memorizing some spells that you like. Trust me, they'll come in handy!
