today is day 20 for the 8 remaining eggs we got from a breeder, I had originally made this post asking if I should have taken them from the turner, BUT I just went to check and...ONE IS PIPPING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

4 eggs in the bator, and 4 under our silkie hen....

I was so worried that I'd killed the 4 eggs in the bator...

MUST...NOT...OPEN....BATOR

actually I'm pretty good as self control, with the turner, I have to do less work, so I'm used to only opening the bator once every few days.

COME ON LITTLE CHICKIE!! wish it luck!

he's a FAST little guy, he's almost completly zipped the shell!, he sounds like he's getting frustrated LOL, I saw the egg jump alittle and this little "CHIRP!"

nomore pips from any of the other eggs yet that I can see,

once he's out, will it be ok to open the bator again?

I'm going to have to take him out to dry though...theres no room for him in the bator..the turner takes up the whole thing, I don't want him to get hurt,

THE BABY IS OUT THE BAAABY IS OUT!

:bouncy

he's a little yellowish/buff colored dude!

I'll get pics later!!!!, gonna check the other eggs under the silkie,

no other pips for the other three yet though, but I did feel one move I think, I had to move the chick to the other side of the bator, because the heating elliment, the screw came out, and it's hanging, so he would have burned his head.

now I'm fluffy and cute!, I can stand, walk AND poopy on mommies papers!

the other three eggs in the bator are taking their sweet ole' time! I see them move, AND I've heard them peep!, but alas, they want to make me wait.

theres one chick so far under the silkie, it's yellow/white with a brownish red back, up to the top of the head. and the other 3 eggs pipping under her.

I've seen a couple of the eggs due to hatch the 11th move as well!

Here are some pics from today, Juliet has 2 babies now, one under her is pipping still, there are two more eggs in the bator hatching, one is zipping, the other still a pip.

here is the baby under Juliet that hatched last night

it has feathered feet, atleast it looks like it, so I think it's a cochin, but what color is it?
