"I can pledge a life debt to you in which I has to protect your children. And, regarding when I was attacked, the two cursed idiots went into Vampires' Bane and attacked me. They left me there to die, but I extracted life energy from a large vine tendril."

Slygotha considers taking the offer. " You would pledge to watch over my lair, as my minion? This is interesting indeed. Your immunity to my poison makes you useful as an ally but a thorn as an enemy. Are all your kind immune to my poison gas? Are you immune to my acid as well? " Slygotha settles, ruminating over the possibilities. The poison gas swirls around at their feet, fluttering from the dragon's sudden movements. " I had thought my acid pool would destroy any living thing not immune, but I did not expect one such as you to be immune."

Slygotha curls around her eggs again, facing the Blades again. " You have yet to tell me who you are and your abilities. If we are to fight creatures of great power, we must become creatures of greater cunning. The key is not always brute force. A bluff goes far when the enemy does not know you."
