I know what a controversy this topic is and I don't intend to start trouble, I just want to offer info in case it does get through.
There are many states, about 38 of them that are filing laws that if the federal government tries to force them to buy health insurance, they will sue the Federal Government. After all, our constitution and bill of rights etc says that our states are sovereign apart from the Federal government and the constitution was written that way in case of the government trying a take over. This is also why we have rights to bear arms. Luckily, our state is one of them protesting that the bill is not constitutional. You cannot force people to buy a product that they do not want.
We know health care can be fixed without turning us into a socialist country. I experienced socialist health care in Australia when my family immigrated there and both times it was a horror story but I will not get into that. I just do not like the fact that they are deliberatly using health care as a way of taking over our country. There is also a bill attached to it that they will take over college grants and funding so they get to pick and choose who goes to college etc, if you are not rich, you may or may not be able to qualify for a student loan.
Nobody cares about the poor more than the citizens of the United States. We are the most generous country on the face of the planet. All we need to do is stop the rediculous malpractice lawsuits and allow buying of insurance across state borders etc and it can fix it. When I did not have insurance, I was never refused health care.
If the countries leaders do not listen to us, this November we can vote them all out and replace them. We can repeal this bill. Also, when the house changes to republican, they can start proceedings to impeach Pelosi and Obama as traitors to the United States. It will be that easy folks.
I am neither republican or democrat by the way. I am like most people, independant and libertarian. I hate politics and the good news is that issue has awakened our nation up finally and people are speaking up. I wish this had happened about 20 years ago. I have seen the gradual mannipulatory steps the government has been doing to take away our rights.
Think of it this way, if that health bill went through and nothing was done, do you think that the senators and congressman and president would use the socialized medicine, or, would they be like in most communist countries that the leadership are the elites that live by different rules than the people. When the HINI flu shots were pushed, the presidents daughters did not get shots either. Even the president would not allow a shot that is filled with mercury and other poisons to go into his daughters.
Actually, the taking care of the poor and the needy is a job given by Jesus to the church, not the government. It is alright if a government wishes to help their people, that is not what I am saying. What I am saying that these huge religeous organizations that create huge fancy buildings etc and have private jets etc, they need to be paying taxes like everybody else and that money used to help the poor. After all, the church is not instutional, it is relational and if these huge religeous institutions are dripping in wealth becuase they are tax exempt, that can be changed.
