The heat and eating less

Do you find that they eat less in the warmer months? Mine are not free ranged they have a run.

X2 Chickens will eat less when it is very warm or they are over heated. You can try wetting the food down with some water to make it softer and cooler. Chickens love wet feed and will be inclined to eat more when it is wet. But only wet down what they will eat in one day as you don't want to refeed this wet feed next day in case it goes bad.
