The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

Dress? He looked down at his shirt and pants, confused momentarily at the odd use of the word. Dress like clothes.
"Hmh," It would be nice to meet someone else like him, but it would probably end up being uncomfortable, like it always was when he met new people. "Do you think they'd have a healer?" But if they weren't outgoing, maybe they wouldn't help. Even if they showed up on their doorstep with bleeding kids.
“Probably not. Harpy’s are usually shy and solitary, and I’ve never known one with healing abilities,” Korim said. “Actually I’ve never known one. I should say I’ve never heard of one with healing abilities. The Rugæ would have healers, however. And they can be outgoing... kinda. In a violent, defensive way.” He gave the American hand-spasm that represented iffiness.

Shy and solitary sounded about right, he'd imagined it was more his circumstances that had made him this way. An entire race of people self-conscious about how they looked sounded awful. And if that were even slightly the case, he wouldn't be welcomed bringing a bunch of strangers there to visit.

It was hard for him to follow what Korim was saying, he seemed to say the interesting stuff first, and then plow through to the important information, without giving him a chance to process.
"Uhh, ok. You think it's a good idea to go to them?" He asked his eyes scrunching up skeptically.

“Yes,” Korim said decisively. “A Rugæ guide is the only way to pass the mountains quickly, or we’ll probably run out of food and starve in the wilderness. At least, anyone who came back from a venture east used one. I suppose there were some who didn’t, and weren’t so fortunate. The only problem is, no one has attempted to cross the mountains for years. Our relationship with the Rugæ has changed. We were once on good terms with them. I hate to tell you, but I expect some conflict this time around. Fortunately...” he picked up his bow and twanged the string “I brought my bow.” He smile crookedly.

Blair had, miraculously, slept some. When she awoke, however, she was weighed down by the weight of a dog and a child. Kit laid across her lap, trapping her and Take's interlocked hands beneath her, and Blair was certain her hand was completely numb by now. Emma was leaning against her, her elbow jammed into Blair's already aching side.
She side, leaning her head against the cave wall. "Hey," she whispered, turning her head to look at Take, just loud enough that if he was awake he'd hear her. "Are you awake?"
Take’s mouth was slightly opened, with drool coming out in the corner of his lips and down his chin as he slept. His neck was craned away from Blair’s direction, and when she spoke to him his nose scrunched up involuntarily. His body shifted in discontentment, seeking what could not be found, but with his hand still tightly secured around Blair’s, it only furthered his inability to get comfortable and resulted in his wake. His eyes opened, registering where he was. “I got vored by a dragon” he muttered.

He hadn't realized they were so far away from civilization that they'd be hiking through mountains to get to wherever it was they were going. Had they really gone that far to try to find them? When he'd left Kyle was barely hold the group together, that he'd somehow united them to work together and come so far, made him think Kyle must have been much better leader this time. Or something happened that made them all realize they had to stick together.

"Ok. Sounds like you've put some thought into already. Hopefully we won't have to fight them."

It’s the cold that pulls Hana from her once peaceful slumber. It was her poor judgement to have chosen a spot near the opening of the cave as the breeze from outside crawled on her skin. Her body became tense and was shivering slightly. As she drifted into wakefulness, she started to hear the muffled voices that were somewhere around her. She slowly unraveled herself from her cradled position and sat up groggily, reaching up underneath her mask to wipe her eyes.

Aria yawned stretching and wiping her eyes, her brown hair was knotty and messy and it was bugging her. She pushed it off her face and blinked at the people around her. She was tired and she hadn’t spoken to any of her new close friends in at least a few hours. She turned scanning the room for Kylan it Lilith or Kevin. (@RiverStorm @FrankieDoodle do u want Aria to interact with one of your characters?)

Chion (now back to her human self) woke not from being too cold, but from being too hot. She was stuffed between Grafe and Siena, who each had the other two borelean kids on their laps. Elon, and the white furred faun girl. Who though being the smallest kids here, managed to cover her enough with their sprawling limbs to nearly cook her.

She squirmed out from under the tangle of arms and legs and made her way over to Fred for a more comfortable place to rest. Though now that peeple were awake and chatting she doubted she'd get much more sleep.

She sat down next to him not bothering to try to stay quiet. In the short walk over she'd changed her mind about sleeping and instead wanted company. Not that they understood each other, but he was one of the few people here she trusted.

When he didn't immediately wake up from her sitting next to him she poked his squishy cheek.

“Huh? Mum I’m not...ready for school...” he drifted back to sleep before it registered he wasn’t at home. “Ah! Oh uh hi Chion.”
