The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

(They told her through a note, not in person, so she wouldn’t have been able to check if it was the truth or not. They weren’t in the house at the time)

She closed her eyes, not wanting to imagine all this. It was too much to take in at one time. Could it be that she had been angry at them all this time for nothing? That they had sacrificed themselves for her? Now she was angry at herself. “I- I thought they only took children.”
"There weren't only children in there." She said quietly, regretting the words as they came out of her mouth. The only adults she'd seen were the ones chasing them down with whips. She took a deep breath dismissing the thought.
"Maybe they just happened to go this way for some other reason, some other time. And that being here has nothing to do with the time that they left you."

“Yeah. That’s probably it.” Not fully knowing why, she held the little telescope close as she stood up. “We should probably go back and look for Kipp and Seina.”

"Seina's in the cave already, she was with. But Fred, Noah, Emma, and Kipp are still missing." She put Kipp's name last. She didn't understand why everyone seemed so concerned about him. As far as she was concerned Kipp was a selfish person, who was only helping the rest of them to better his own chances of escape.

“Right,” she answered, still distracted. “Well, let’s go.”

Chion followed Ashira, trying to come up with something to say to make her feel better. She didn't like it when people got quiet, she'd rather just talk it out until what ever the problem was had gotten fixed. There probably wasn't much that could be said to fix this, but she didn't want to be walking in uncomfortable silence.

"What do you remember about your parents?"

She stopped at this question, surprised. Slowly, she began to talk. “They were... normal, I guess. My mom was kind and was always pretty open. My dad wasn’t really around much, but he wasn’t bad.”

"What do you think they were doing here, with a telescope?" She asked, eyeing the silvery tube as she stepped around Ashira.

“My dad liked astronomy. I remember one night when he somehow found Earth with it and showed it to me. I think I was about seven. That’s when my parents started to talk about it constantly.”

Chion sighed, the conversation wasn't going the way she wanted it to. She was hoping her parents had never shown any interest in the other planet. That would have made it too easy to disprove though.

"That sounds pretty cool, that you actually got to see it."

“I guess,” she shrugged. “It was very... blue.”
