Cam followed Kipp’s lead and carefully held her bowl in both hands, before snatching Noah’s and ensuring that each was secure in her one-handed grip. He trailed at her heels, watching his stew intently.Kipp shrugged, taking his bowl from the tray, expecting Korim to drop all of it before they made it anywhere uncrowded to settle down.
"The back of the shop is probably less busy than here." He suggested, walking that direction himself while sipping at the steaming bowl. The narrow alley way between buildings was significantly less crowded than the main street through the town.
Korim gave the group an injured look. “Don’t you trust my sense of balance?” he asked, walking into the alley and setting down the tray without mishap. “I’m part dwarf and part elf you know.”
Cam sat down and set the bowls beside her. Noah was about to sip the soup like he did in Dakrium when Cam retrieved a pair of spoons from Korim’s tray.
She booped Noah on the nose with it. “What are you, some kind of barbarian?”
“I doubt it,” Korim said. Take maybe had forgotten, but Korim had brothers. Meaning he had to compete for food. Take was going down. “Wanna bet?”Both Take and Hana took their own bowls of stew and followed Kipp. That’s when Hana filled him in on what happened. When they made it to the back of the building they situated themselves on the ground. Take made sure to sit by Emma and give her her stew. The bowl was quite large for a child, so he’d understand if she didn’t finish. “You can give whatever you don’t finish to Kit” he informed her. He looked thoughtfully into his bowl, reconsidering his decision to go after Blair so soon and to actually wait for a period of time. He was sure she was fine, she could handle herself and had the strength to do so. That’s when Take looked up towards the sky. They don’t have a moon here right? He shook himself of these thoughts and glanced at Korim, who had also ordered the spicy stew. “Yo Korim, I bet I can down this faster than you” he smirked.
