I won't be doing a mite count so the main concern for me is if the bees survive it.

Trying this method for mite control on this hive.

I had really good results with it last year. The bees will pull out all of the brood in the top box but will start up again in about a week or 2.

Our goldenrod is blooming everywhere right now. The hives have that unmistakable pungent smell wafting across the field.
