Howrse is there for you when you have a few spare minutes to log in. It doesn't take you for granted.

That's true. It will always be there when I run out of things I feel like doing on the internet

I have never been a big fan of howrses though. When other little children in my class squealed at them during our farm excursions, I'd probably be busy trying to feed the goat through the wire mesh fence.

Golden Apples give a stat bonus and let you choose from coats drawn by players, and Diamond Apples let you create your own custom coat using a flash coat editor.

A Black Pear is what you use to upload a Golden Apple coat to Howrse.
