What is the safe haven?

The safe haven is, well I'm not actually sure what it is.

But you can put any of your horses there, young or old, and they will always have enough food and energy and morale etc. etc. You get 400 equus for each horse you put in the Safe haven.

Yeah, I've seen that a lot. Is it for when ya can't feed em anymore er something?
