The humidity in my incubator went up to high, what should I do?

yesterday my new incubator came in: a Mmjj Digital Fully Automatic Egg Incubator.

Today is the first day of incubation, and my humidity sparked up to 75 percent because I added to much water. Since it’s the first day, I hope it didn’t affect their growth that much, or would it be worse? The humidity is still to high and the alarm is still beeping, but my incubator should be able to bring the humidity down soon enough. Basically, my question is if my eggs are in danger.

I believe it should b fine, as long as it wasn't too high for too long. Try to use a paper towel and dry up some water if your incubator doesn't drop the humidity. I had humidity reach 80 - 85 percent throughout my first time hatching eggs. They where fine.

It will be fine. What matters with humidity is making sure the eggs lose enough moisture over the course of incubation- spikes and drops are not as much a concern as with temperature. Run dry for a day to balance out and make sure your temperature is accurate and even.
