While grocery shopping with the wife the other day, I wandered over to the frozen turkeys, ducks, geese etc. case. I spotted those twin packs of Cornish hens. I believe the package weighed 2.2 lbs. With the kids now gone, these are always a winner for the wife and I to have for a Sunday afternoon dinner.
I was thinking, wouldn't it be nice if one could raise a quail to equal these little Cornish hens? Just the right size for a Sunday dinner!
