Ones internally pipped! No more opening bator now. Only one has though but i willl be happy if one hatches!![]()
I think that it varies and depends on how much work that the chick has to do to get out. Some of the shells are sometimes thicker than others. They get tired and take rest breaks, and then continue on.

has anyone ever seen this before? I am pretty sure this egg is dead, along with 4 others in my incubator. I was going to leave them to makensure, but in worried it might be bacteria that could harm my other eggs? Im not sure. But im sad. I just cleaned my incubator and thermometer and water cups with vinigar (hope thats okay to use) and im hoping for the best. I have one due on the 18th, and i need that one to live! Im down to 5 eggs out of 12. And 4 still have a long way to go.
Could it be because they were stored in the fridge?
If anyone has any advice. It would be very much appreciated.
