I’m trying to finish the first draft this year and I’ve found the best way to keep my motivation is to write whatever part I want when I want cuz it’s not like I have to use it but then it keeps me interested

That's a good idea. Honestly I wish I had the patience to write a book, cause I think it would be so cool, but it's so hard sticking with a story.

My problem is that my stories get too…intricate? Like I build the world and lore too much and then I’m like…crap, I gotta actually fit a story into all of this
