Well in that case, you are better off getting a new charger. You can try isopropyl alcohol to clean it off, but I don't think trying that on your laptop is a good idea. The chance of you frying the Mac is high if you do that. Also make sure the contacts on the MacBook are clean. Turn it off and use isopropyl alcohol and a qtip to clean the laptop port.
