Anyone ever wonder what it was like for the first people who ate mushrooms? Like, someone would eat one and start hallucinating, another would drop dead. And then there's Gertrude over there who got lucky and ended up eating a mushroom that wasn't toxic...All so that now, we can know which ones are safe for consumption...

YES. me too. I mean I guess that's what works/worked, but still You'll certainly never find me volunteering for anything like that. I get anxiety just being in the presence of toxic substances
