THE INSANITY THREAD

Oh yeah. That makes sense . Sometimes it’s easier for me with strangers than people I know well because I’m likely to not see them again and don’t really care about their opinion of me as much. (Obviously that sounds bad but I care more about my friend’s opinion than someone random. 🥹)

It’s hard. I started finding every now and then to go places without people I knew because it didn’t put that same pressure on me to act a certain way. I really don’t know how else to put that but people don’t pressure me that’s just how I’m wording this. 😭

Anyways, not sure if that makes sense but I hope you’re able to get more comfortable with it because it’s no fun at all. I do get that way too so sometimes it just depends how I’m feeling in the moment.
I've had to talk to strangers before. The worst was when I found a turtle and went door to door asking whose turtle it was. Turns out the only person I had really had a conversation with on that street knew where to take it. It was fun

I really hate having to deal with cars while riding my bike. It's annoying when they want you to go even though they have right of way.

Yah.

I've found two turtles. First one was easy. The turtle was right in front of its house. The second one ended up taking me a hour to find its home.
Once I found a turtle in the street and carried it in the woods to find a sketchy abandoned building. I feel like that would be such a smart kidnapping method though.. If someone just sent out random turtles and people go walking in the woods or to random houses to return them :caf

Yah, seems like turtles are popular here though.

I'm honestly not really socially awkward anymore, I don't really get nervous talking to people unless it's someone I am really trying to make a good impression on but strangers, friends and stuff I'm fine. I'm just bad at starting conversations myself lol

Starting conversations is the hardest part. I have no idea how to do that still.

Pay attention to how people start conversations with you. There's nothing wrong with using the same methods :caf
For some reason I never knew how to respond to people saying "Hello, how are you?", especially when it's done in passing. I realized after a bit that most people just answer the question and return it. "Hi, I'm good. How are you?". It's way more polite than just answering the question and cutting off the conversation I found... 😂

Right, but after that it gets weird.
